Wcf Support Masthead

By Walter Carter Funerals

Our personalised service extends beyond the end of the service, and we’re committed to supporting families through the entire grieving process, which often endures long after the last guest has gone home.

To do this, we’ve developed a grief support program that has helped hundreds of individuals and families in our community with the support, knowledge, and guidance they need.

All grief is unique, so the program allows people to acknowledge and express pain, explore feelings, share thoughts, and learn methods to positively cope with loss in their own way.

Beyond this, around six weeks after the funeral service, a specialist counsellor from our partners at the Grief Centre will call the client family, with their permission.

This enables the family to talk through their feelings after some time has passed and receive further resources or referrals if needed.
