Jasmin Islam

Dzhesmin (Jasmin) has worked as a part of the Walter Carter Conducting and Arranging team for many years. Fluent in Russian, Hindi, and English, Jasmin offers a uniquely personal and inclusive approach to each funeral she helps arrange, ensuring every service is handled with sensitivity and respect for diverse traditions and background.

With a strong foundation in the medical field—shaped by her early career experience and her upbringing as the daughter of a doctor and a midwife—Jasmin has spent many years working in hospitals and medical centres. Her work has always been characterised by a calm presence, meticulous attention to detail, and an innate ability to provide care and comfort in the most challenging of moments.

Jasmin also holds a Master’s degree in Forensics, which enhances her ability to manage complex and sensitive situations with insight and professionalism. This advanced training supports her in working closely with families, medical staff, and coroners, helping to ensure that each service is carried out with clarity, care, and integrity. Jasmin’s deep empathy and interest in the human experience have also led her to volunteer in aged care facilities and children’s hospitals. This profound connection to people and their stories has naturally guided her path into the funeral profession, where she continues to support families with dignity, understanding, and grace.
