For many years Walter Carter has known Lee as our irrepressible and ever enthusiastic carpet cleaner. When he came to us one day asking if it would be possible for him to work with us as part of our team there was no hesitation in offering him a role.

Lee is an impeccable hearse driver and at services, be they intimate or having attendances of 1,000+, Lee’s eyes are always watching. Watching for people who need assistance, watching for the unexpected or any potential problems, Lee has everything in his eye line and most often Lee has a solution ready as soon as an issue is identified.

A true Eastern Suburbs local, it is not uncommon to hear attendees at a funeral service call out Lee’s name, shake his hand and see the moment they recognise that they are at a service with a friend taking care of them, rather than strangers.
