Definitely not. We’re not closing down. While we will be relocating to a new premises in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, we’re committed to continuing our long legacy of community service. We’re here for the long run.
When is the relocation happening?
We’re currently looking for a suitable premises and are expecting the relocation to occur in 2017.
Will Walter Carter Funerals still be a family-owned business?
We’re extremely proud that after 130 years, Walter Carter Funerals is still an independent, family-owned business – a rarity in our industry. The relocation will not affect this.
Will the new premises be located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs?
Our business has always had a strong connection with the Eastern Suburbs community. It’s a priority for us to continue this connection, so our new premises will be located within the Eastern Suburbs.
Will my pre-arranged or pre-paid funeral be safe?
Absolutely. Our relocation will have no impact on funerals that have already been arranged and/or paid for.
Will Walter Carter Funerals offer the same services?
Yes, we will. In fact, relocating to a new, more suitable premises will allow us to increase our service offerings and afford our client families a broader range of choices.
